Former NBA Star Rodney Rogers Paralyzed

Former Wake Forest and NBA star Rodney Rogers was paralyzed from the shoulers down in an ATV accident. According to reports on ESPN and the Raleigh-Durham news and observer, the accident occurred last week in rural North Carolina. Rogers, 37, had a 12-year NBA career, during which he played for the Denver Nuggets, L.A. Clippers, Phoenix Suns, Boston Celtics, New Jersey Nets, New Orleans Hornets and Philadelphia 76ers.He entered the league as a first-round draft pick by the Nuggets in 1993 and retired after the 2004-2005 season.As a college player at Wake Forest, Rogers was named the 1993 ACC Player of the Year and received All-America honors.
